These are some utilities that I think are very useful when used with Super
Boot. These programs are by other authors, and some are Shareware, so if
you like one of the Shareware programs please contribute for it. The
programs here are included with the authors' permission.
You may have problems with ACC.PRG as it does conflict with some AUTO
programs; reordering the AUTO programs will sometimes resolve the problem.
Digiedit may be a little confusing to use. As a sample walkthrough, let's
assume you want to convert an ST Replay sound to Digisound format.
Run Digiedit, go to the "Options" menu and select "Load a Sound". It will
ask if it is DIGISOUND or PURE DATA. Select PURE DATA. Click on play to
see what it sounds like (it won't sound so good). Click on convert and then
click on play again. It should sound like it is supposed to. Now here's
the slightly confusing part -- go to the "Options" menu and select
"Options #2" which is really the option to save the sound. Type in a new
filename for the sound and then click on OK. It should have saved the
sound in digisound format. You can adjust the sample rate with the bits/sec
button.
If you know of other programs which you feel are particularly useful with
Super Boot drop me a line and let me know about them.
